As many of you noticed yahoo messenger 11.5.0.155-us came with new features.
1. On top of groups apear a new group named: Recent contacts wich show you last people you were talk.

2. This version of messenger is set to open all people you talk in a single window, grouped in tabs on botom of page.

Do you want to disable grouped tabs chat? Here is how to do it! Follow this steps:

1. Go to top side Messenger -> Preferences

2. Navigate to Messages and uncheck “Open new messages in a tab”, press Apply, press OK and you are done!

As you know Facebook.com launched Facebook messenger for Windows. It looks cool and you can chat with up to 5000 friends. Messages are kept the same as normal chat or just like normal messages on Facebook servers, and you can see the activity of friends in a window that does not depend by a browser. In the right part bottom of program they put a button wich dock in the right side of screen and looks like in the browser.

On the top you can see: Friend requests, Messages and Notifications.

Yesterday i noticed my yahoo status were changing without I do any change. I changed couple of things of my messenger without any good result, but at last i found a good solution. This thing is made useing some bots who send you a script. Since these bots are not in our messenger list we can ignore them.
To block someone to change your Yahoo messenger status you must follow next steps:

1. Go to yahoo messenger preferences

2. Press on Ignore list and select: Ignore anyone who is not in my Yahoo! Contacts.

From now you will only receive messages from people who are in your Messenger List or Adress Book.

How can you find the ip of the person you communicate using Yahoo Messenger

The simplest options for finding an ip from a person you’re talking on yahoomesenger are:

option 1

1. Communicate with Yahoo Messenger ID (not more)
2. Click on: Start -> Run
2. Write: cmd
3. ENTER or OK (usually occurs dos prompt: C: \ Documents and Settings \your_username>)
and write DOS prompt: netstat -a

4. Open the file c: \ log.txt (with notepad) [if it was created]

5. Find the following: ypager.exe (attention: sometimes the name of the executableis are different, but generally begins with Y for Yahoo, or not appear at all) …. Or your computer … TCP: 3447 84.38.123.54:5101 ESTABLISHED
6. Result is usually the first IP search. If you are unsure, look after the port which can be up to 5000 (this is 5101)
where in the above exmplul IP 84.38.123.54 is the search

option 2
1. Communicate with Yahoo Messenger ID (not more)

If you want to give your website visitors the opportunity to talk to you install Yahoo Messenger Pingbox.

It alow you to chat with your website visitors.

To install it on the website you must follow next steps:

1. open Yahoo Messenger

2. press “Messenger >> My pingbox” menu.

It will open you a new windows on your browser (internet explorer, firefox, chrome or whatever you use).

3. Press “Create new” link on right-top of page.

4. Chose 1of 4 tipes of background theme: fun, professional, seasonal or colour.

5. Select text size and colour.

6. Choose your display name on pingbox.

How to solve this:
Well, at this moment i found only this solution.
Uninstall yahoo messenger 11 beta and reinstall ~~yahoo messenger 10~~ yahoo messenger 11, and avatar will work fine again.

Installation

Close Winamp if it is currently running

Download the installer, which is a ZIP file, to a desired location on disk
Open the ZIP file using your favorite unarchiving software.
The installer is inside the archive. Most probably you will be able to double click it directly from the archive viewer in order to run it.
If not, extract the file somewhere and run it from there.
After the installation completes, open Winamp, go to Preferences (press CTRL + P), click the General purpose list item located in the lower section of the left panel, and double clickYahoo! Messenger Now Playing to configure the plugin as you like.

Troubleshooting

The Yahoo! Messenger status is not changed at all
Status is changed to an older one instead of the correct one.: This plugin detects the current version of your Yahoo! Messenger using a Registry key written by the Yahoo! Messenger installer. It can happen that the key does not reflect reality, and as such unexpected behaviour can occur. Verify that the following registry key contains the correct Yahoo! Messenger version which you are using:Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo\pager
Value name: Double click the value Version to edit it
Value data: Change the major version value (e.g. 8.x.x.x) to 9.x.x.x or 10.x.x.x (the main idea is that the major version value is to be correct)
My status is changed in YM but it doesn’t get updated to the other people: Your status is currently blocked by the Yahoo! Servers. This happens when you change it too often over a period of time. Wait 1 or 2 hours.
I use more than one Yahoo! Messenger instances. The plugin doesn’t work: Only one instance of YM is supported at the moment
This plugin is the best! Why isn’t it published on winamp.com?: Winamp plugin submission system sucks. And there’s this page already, so why bother? Google does the magic and brings you here anyway.
How do I use this plugin? Why doesn’t my status change? Something else doesn’t work, can you help me?: This software is freeware. There is no guarantee that it will work as expected as time goes on. If something’s broken, you’re on your own. I do NOT do technical support, so don’t even bother to ask, you’ll just be ignored. The only troubleshooting available officially from me is on this page, anything else is your responsability.

I installed yahoo messenger 11 and I enjoy the new options.
If you have yahoo account linked with twitter and facebook, you publish automatically, in same time, status on facebook and automatically tweet on Twitter, thus simplifying the way you do updates.
